I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tram Chim and was impressed by the freshness and quality of their seafood dishes. The flavors were bold and the presentation was impeccable. One dish that stood out to me was their grilled octopus, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. If you're a seafood lover looking for a new spot to try, I highly recommend giving Tram Chim a visit.

Excellent Asian food! Fast and delicious. Only the clams weren’t fresh and smelled not great but not disappointed with it. We will be back! Highly recommendation for everyone.

They were so kind here when we went in for lunch! The food was a AMAZING, best Viet food in all of San Diego. We were craving authentic Viet food and didn’t want to drive to OC. Delicious and we would return again!

This is the menu for the khmer's party. There's plenty of parking here. It's always fun. Make sure you bring cash.

They changed their phone number if you can't reach them the new phone number is (619) 918-6200!!!!! My family and I were thrilled to know that there was a Tram Chim restaurant opening in San Diego. Their original one is set in Santa Ana and we loved going to eat there when we visit family. They're shaking beef and noodle is the most tender us steak meat you will ever eat and it's flavored with delicious Asian seasonings. They also have some amazing Asian culture music shows that are fantastic and you can get tickets to go to their events. This is a mom and Pop type restaurant that has sincere authentic Vietnamese, Cambodian, Thai mixed cuisine. The staff is amazing and kind and always there to serve and everyone is authentically Asian as well. Come in big groups that's when you will get most out of the delicious food and rounds of beer . There are amazing deals on food for big groups as well having a party there will be greatly catered. It's a wonderful venue and the restaurant at the same time. Enjoy its okie of the greatest underdog treasures of San Diego!

This is a review for both food and music venue, the restaurant used to go by a different name of Ly's Garden but since has been changed to Tram Chim under new management and that's when they added a big stage with DJ, live music and ballroom dancing. To be honest the lightings and sound were perfect, it kept people going, and just the different set up made the place bigger, more tables equal more money. The disadvantage they had was parking, even if they took over the grocery store next door, it wasn't enough to accommodate the large amount of people for a concert. As a headline performer of the night like my brother, the management was a bit lacking, they didn't communicate with him at all until the last minute, they ended up Uber him to the venue, then sneaked him thru the back. Secondly, their holding was also unorganized as they were not an actual green room, but only partial employees break area plus kitchen storage and I did see a mattress so someone obviously living behind the restaurant, I felt a little unprofessional on their end. But to make for that, they did treat the artists nicely, feeding them with a lot of food from the restaurant which I think all of them tasted great, they even packed to go for us. Just a note for next time, please tighten your security because a lot of drunk customers sneaked backstage and helping themselves with artists food and also making the talents felt uncomfortable.

Do not judge the book by its cover fits this place perfectly. This restaurant is located in an old plaza that doesn't have other businesses open. The interior is decorated to look like you're going to an Asian wedding. The menu is very disorganized as each menu has different items. Cash ONLY. Friendly service. Don't come here wanting the common standard vietnamese food, they are more of partying/drinking food you get in Vietnam. We got escargot, conch, deer, and fried rice. I actually didn't expect the food to be good but it was surprisingly good. The pineapple fried rice was filled with variety of seafood such as squid, fishcakes, shrimp, etc. They also covered it with pork floss which is very different but it works. Deer was like high quality BBQ pork. It was soooo tender and I love the sauce that it came with as well as the pickled veggies. Escargot was just as good as any of those popular restaurants but cheaper. It was plump and has good flavor. Finally, the conch dish was also good. It was a little tough but still good. Overall, definitely a true vietnamese style restaurant and good for parties
